The Scene

A large North West Company had a disasterous fire to their premises which lasted for four days. 800 chemical and rubber products, and 1,000 tons of stock, were destroyed in the blaze. 150 Firemen and 20 Fire Engines attended the scene.

The Outcome

The Company was able to return to full production within 48 hours.
Within 2 weeks 1,000 tons of stock had been replaced.
Normal business was resumed.
A Fire Service that returned to normal service with a job well done.

The above details are just the bare facts represented by a date and circumstances that the staff of this Company are not likely to forget in a hurry. It was then that a major fire broke out at the Company premises.

The site had compromised the warehouse and the offices from which the entire sales and logistics of the organisation operated. Despite the heroic efforts of the 150 Firemen at the scene, the fire destroyed the entire 1,000 tons of stock. It was not until the fourth day after the flames had been finally extinguished that the site was cool enough and safe enough for investigators to search the ruins and discover the Data Safe with all the Company's records safe, intact and completely unharmed after such a ferocious fire.

We are obviously very pleased that a Data Safe was installed at these premises and that the Company were therefore able to quickly get back to business and continue to prosper as a result.
